Having completed Module 1, this is an opportune moment to reflect on our learning, our goals, and our progress on the course outcomes.
Open a Word file and set it up in MLA style by doing the following:
Put your name, course title, my name (Dr. Cook), and today's date in the upper left corner of the document
Just below, add a brief title such as "Module 1 Reflection," or something more creative
Add a header at the 1/2" line on the right with your last name and page number (if you are not sure how to add page numbers, see this explanation page--note that the information centers on PCs, but the process is similar for a Mac).
In Word go to Edit => "Select All" to apply changes to the entire document. First, make sure the entire document is consistent in terms of font size and style (preferably Calibri or Times New Roman in 12-point font). [*Note that "Select All" does not affect headers or footers, so these will have to be adjusted manually.]
Then go to "Format" => "Paragraph" and set the entire document at double spacing. Place a check mark in the box marked "Do not add spaces between paragraphs of the same style--this will ensure that the entire document is uniformly double-spaced throughout.
