Tasks:
At this stage of your project, the entire research paper with a comprehensive list of references is due. Your final paper should include a discussion of the following:
- In retrospect to the topic you have selected and the challenges/issues, discuss and comment on the success or failure of the technological determinism associated with your selected area.
- Discuss how from a Social Informatics context, you would consider both the social aspect, not just the technology or ICT aspect in your proposed solutions or recommendations in terms of the following elements:
- Individual Networks
- Society Networks
- Technology infrastructures (Hardware & Software etc)
- Information structures
Your final paper needs to be in the same electronic format as earlier submissions and should not exceed a limit of 10 pages. Common sections of your research paper must include an abstract, introduction, conclusion and references.
Prepare and submit a PowerPoint presentation (5-10 slides) on the relevant high points of your selected topic and the challenge, as if you are reviewing this with a board of directors.
