How to Check your Grades

As a student using Canvas, accessing your grades is easy and can be done in two places.

Option 1. Click Grades in the Global Navigation bar at the top of your Canvas window, between the words Courses & Groups and Calendar. This will show your grades for all the courses you are enrolled in through Canvas.

To see the grades specific to one course, click on the course name. Canvas will open the course and take you to the Grades section of the class.

 

Option 2. Grades can be accessed inside a specific Canvas course. Simply open the course by clicking the course title [1] under Courses & Groups at the top of Canvas window. Then click Grades [2] in the navigation bar at the left.

 

From within the grades window, you have several options. You can view your grades for the course. You can also view scoring details for a specific assignment by clicking on the Check Mark icon, view comments (if they exist) for an assignment by clicking the Speech Bubble, or click the Rubric icon to preview the rubric (if one was used).
