A Note About Consensual Relationships

Consensual sexual relationships between co-workers (and, in the academic environment, between faculty, staff or students) often sour to the point where conduct once considered welcome becomes unwelcome. Both parties in a romantic relationship have the right to end it any time, and to do so without fear of retaliation on the job or in their academic work.
