Susan is an instructor in the Genetics Department.  Her class is held 3 times a week.  Every time she comes into her classroom, there is a note on her desk from Ben, one of her students. The notes always say how great Susan looks and how much Ben would like to go out with her. The notes make Susan very uncomfortable and one day when she saw Ben in the hallway, she discreetly asked him to please stop putting notes on her desk. Ben smiled and said, "Whatever you say, teacher." The next day of class, Susan found another note on her desk. She became so upset that she was unable to teach her class.

Is this an example of hostile work environment sexual harassment?
