Overview

Social Studies 22G is the second semester of World Geography. In the first semester you learned to view the world through the eyes of a geographer. You will continue to use these skills as you explore more of the world in 22G.

As you examine new countries and cultures, you should develop an understanding of the ways in which the world is interconnected physically, culturally, and technologically. You will use a number of skills essential in the geographer’s world. You will come to understand the causes and effects of people’s interactions with their physical and cultural environments. And you’ll acquire the ability to make assumptions and inferences about the quality and nature of life around the world as you use charts, graphs, tables, diagrams, maps, and other informational tools.
