Course Overview

Welcome to United States History 32A: Second Semester! This course is designed to expand your knowledge of the American past and help you develop the analytical skills that make the study of history a useful path into a range of professions. A major goal of this course is to encourage you to think like a historian. Readings will expose you to the larger concepts of history along with the dates and facts. You will be able to research whom an event or a document is about, what happened, when it took place, where it took place, and why it happened.

This course is a challenging one, but you have an opportunity to learn a great deal about this country’s history. Best wishes for a great educational experience!
