Wag the Dog was released in 1997, well before the creation of online social networks and at a time when consuming news on the internet was still relatively new for most people.  Thinking about today's media environment, what aspects of the film do you think remain plausible?  What media manipulation strategies presented would be more difficult or less difficult today?
