Course Enrollment

To enroll in an IUHS course, go to the course catalog at https://expand.iu.edu/browse/iuhs Links to an external site..

From there you can scroll through all of our courses, or search for a specific course or topic using the 'Search' field. The 'Categories' drop-down menu is another way to help find courses of interest, for example by choosing a specific department or subject. To see only Cooperative courses, for example, search for 'cooperative' or choose 'cooperative' from the Categories menu.

To register for a course, click on the course and then click 'Add to Cart'. You will need an IU Guest Account Links to an external site. to proceed, and the page will ask you to verify that you have one. You can click the 'back' button to register for additional courses, or click 'Checkout' to pay for your course. Diploma students will need to wait until their advisor has approved their course.

 

An alternative way to register for courses (but only for IUHS Diploma students) is to click on the 'Request Courses' tab in Genius (in the middle navigation box at left). Choose 'ongoing' as the term (if required), then pick your desired course from the drop-down menu. Click 'Register' and wait for notification that your course was approved. Then click on 'Make a Payment' in the bottom Navigation box (at left) and pay in Paypal. Genius should now show your enrollment in the course.
