The top option is always a link to bring you back to the normal Dashboard view.
The next two options in the top group are related to the Genius Messaging system. Clicking Messages will take you to a new page that lets you send and receive messages. You can use these to communicate with your instructors. (Of course you can also use regular e-mail or the messaging system built in to Canvas.)
The next link is Contact School - this will let you contact the IUHS staff directly, although you can always do so by regular e-mail as well.

The first link in the next section of links is Course Information. This choice shows a summary of course information for one course at a time. You can see the name and e-mail address of your instructor along with other information, plus you'll find a LAUNCH link to the course itself in Canvas. Click the red left/right arrows to move between courses.

Suggested Pacing will show you a schedule indicating the approximate number of assignments you should complete in each week in order to finish the course by your end-date. If you fall behind this pace, the Make-up column will show how many extra assignments you'll need to do to catch up.

Gradebook will show a summary of your grades and progress in each course. You can click on Details for each course to see more information.

Student Activity shows you the number of page-views you have made in a selected course during a given time period. This lets you easily see which courses you've been working on the most and the least.

Diploma Program takes you to a page where you can apply to enroll in the IUHS Diploma program. (For current Diploma students, this button is replaced by a "Request Courses" button, which will allow you to choose courses from a drop-down menu.)

Drop a Course goes to a page that lists any courses you have requested to drop, and provides a button to let you choose any other course you want to drop.

View Transcript will let you see the transcript we have for you, including your IUHS courses plus any other course information you have given us.

Transcript Request will let you order an official transcript for $10. (For questions or problems related to your official transcript, please contact us at askiuhs@iu.edu.)

The bottom set of Navigation links is where you can make any required payments, such as for a requested official transcript or for applying for the Diploma program.

External Links takes you to a brief (for now) list of useful IUHS links, such as the IU High School website and this tutorial.
