Awards and Funding - UCET Teaching with Technology Grant
UCET Teaching with Technology Grant
Express Grants: The express grant has been consolidated into the UCET Tech Grant. Low-cost items totaling $125 or less, such as headsets and microphones, may be expedited. Please fill out the consult form below.
The UCET Teaching with Technology Grant provides faculty an opportunity to explore the use of technology in their courses. We seek proposals that provide a clear rationale on how the use of a particular hardware and/or software will enhance one's teaching in innovative or creative ways, promote student engagement and discovery, facilitate optimal learning and grow the number of courses where technology integration is key to instruction. Faculty could use these technology tools to develop and teach their face-to-face/on-campus, fully online or hybrid/blended courses. Decisions on who receives funding are made by a review committee composed of faculty from several departments and staff from Media Services and the University Center for Excellence in Teaching.
The value of the grant is $1200 per academic year.
We are accepting proposals throughout the fall and spring semesters, with deadlines at the end of every month.
We require that all applicants have a brief consultation BEFORE turning in their complete proposal, in case there is other hardware or software that would be more appropriate for them. Please complete the form below with a brief description of what you would like to accomplish with equipment received through the grant and the desired technology, either links to specific items or a description.
