You can share your eText highlights and notes with classmates. It's a way to make your own study group.

You have the option to enable sharing and select whom to share with. Each person in the study group will have to enable sharing with the others in order for it to work; your professor can't do it for you. 

By default, your professor can see your notes. You can opt to hide notes from the instructor, but in some classes, professors use notes for participation grades.

To select classmates for sharing

1. Open your eText from the home page (your library). 
2. Open the menu (three little dots) in the upper-right corner.
3. Click "Sharing."
4. Choose the sharing option you would like to use in the menu. If "Only these students:" is selected, you may choose specific students to share with. 
5. You may also choose "Hide my notes from my instructors" so that your notes can be seen only by selected classmates.
