UITS Services for Digital Humanities & Creative Activities
Have you been looking to learn new skills to use in the classroom or your research? This series will introduce Humanities and creative practitioners to the services available to them through UITS. The series includes hands-on introductions to topics, lectures by those doing cutting edge work at IU, and confab days when any and all questions and approaches can be explored. We will cover text analysis, virtual reality for teaching and art education, 3D object acquisition, augmented reality, and 360 panarama photography tours. Speakers include Bernie Frischer, Margaret Dolinsky, Matthew Brennan, and a host of experts from the Advanced Visualization Lab and Cyberinfrastructure for Digital Humanities & Creative Activities. Please join us on Thursdays at 4:00pm in the Scholars’ Commons IQ-Wall room.
