SP21: YOGA II: 21450
Yoga 2 is designed as more than a simple exercise class. Each class meeting will include a focused practice including physical postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), and mediation (vipasana). The focus of this style of yoga is on the individual’s internal experience and increasing awareness for conscious action. There are no prerequisites for the Yoga 2 course, although completion of Yoga 1 is highly recommended.
Students will participate in weekly classroom or virtual practices, complete supporting online lessons, and complete an out of class yoga studio visit. Class assessments will measure understanding of key yoga principals and explore personal experience of yoga practice.
