Often times, when thinking about our future, we hesitate to clearly articulate what are dreams (and nightmares) actually are. We all may know some of the general aspects of these things, but particulars elude us.

This activity asks that you create an O*Net profile page (see onetonline.org (Links to an external site.)) for both your "dream job" and you "nightmare job." Given everything that you have engaged in up until now you probably have a much clearer idea about what could be included in each of these categories.

Now, as a point of clarification, the task is to create a "dream" and "nightmare" job based on what you see, think, and feel RIGHT NOW. As you continue to develop personally and professionally, what you create here is likely to change. You are NOT identifying what particular job you want to have in the future, you are imagining the dream scenario (and nightmare scenario).
