Pre-Yoga is designed as an introduction to yoga. The focus of all practices will be to help you explore the different components of yoga and develop internal awareness of what works for YOU. Yoga is more than just the physical postures.
Students will learn the about the history of yoga, ancient concepts from yoga philosophy as well as how to practice safely. The goal of this class is to provide an introduction to yoga and for each individual to identify key elements of yoga that best support optimal functioning.
This class is 100% online. Students have weekly video guided practices, online quizzes, and discussions. Class assessments will measure understanding of key yoga principals. Discussions will be a place to explore personal experience of yoga practices.
