The style of yoga that we will be practicing is based on the individual’s internal experience (it’s all about you!) The physical practices and online assignments are directed at increasing your awareness, building an understanding of key yoga philosophies, and developing conscious action.
Yoga 2 focuses on application of yoga elements of pranayama (breathing), vipasana (meditation), energetics, sound, and ritual and application for emotional and psychological balance.
There are no prerequisites for the Yoga 2 course, although completion of Yoga 1 is highly recommended. This course will meet during the 2nd 8-weeks of the semester.
