Week 2

Purpose

The purpose of these videos is to discuss why data sharing is important, walk through an example of how to easily share data, discuss types of data sharing statements, and cover ongoing developments in data sharing policies and new automated ways that are aiding in the identification and assessment of data availability.

Dr. Colby Vorland

Assistant Research Scientist at School of Public Health

Indiana University

Dr. Vorland's research focuses on reporting quality, error detection and correction, semi-automated methods to improve research quality, and other meta-research related to nutrition, obesity, and aging.
