Conics Self Study

This P&E is both an exploration and a participation discussion designed to help explore the world of conics through a guided self-study assignment. As you are studying and completing the assignment, reach out to your classmates in the P&E forum or reach out to the online math mentors for clarification and guidance. Try to get through the assignment in MyLab and begin working on the Statuary Hall application by Friday, July 21st. Know that you do not need to have a 'perfect' solution path in your initial post. Just give it your best attempt.

Application & Discussion With Classmates

Spend time early in the week asking questions and responding to question from your classmates about the Conic Self-Study and MyLab assignment. Try to post your solution for the Statuary Hall application by Friday. Then finish the weekend encouraging classmates and helping with questions. By the end of the P&E, you will have gained some familiarity with Ellipsis and Hyperbolas so that you are better prepared when they show up in future classes.
