• From Me to Us in a Diverse Community: We recognize each individual for who they are (our identities) and We recognize all of the ways we can stand with each other as community to support a just society.
• Understanding Online Behavior: The Internet has given us an efficient and effective way to communicate with others and share ideas, but we must be mindful of the ways in which we relate to one another in online spaces so that we do not repeat the racist, biased, and exclusionary tendencies we find IRL (In Real Life).
• Representation in Schools and Society: Who and how we see people in books, on TV, on the Internet, and in the curriculum has real impacts for relationships between "majority" and minoritized peoples.
• Standing Against Structural Inequality: The impact of structural inequality can be seen in the classroom and in the broader culture, and we have a responsibility to unpack, understand, and resist the structures that help some people at the expense of others.
• When Bad Things Do and Don't Happen: Sometimes it takes a significant event to bring issues of racism, bias, and structural inequality to light, and sometimes they can just simmer under the surface of everyday life.
