Charity Morgan, Ph.D.

Dr. Charity J. Morgan earned a BA in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis in 2003 and a PhD in Statistics from Harvard University in 2008.

She is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has collaborated on projects in a variety of scientific fields, including psychology, neurology, cardiology and anesthesiology.

Since 2017, she has chaired the selection committee for UAB School of Public Health’s Janet L. Norwood Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Woman in the Statistical Sciences.
