Submitting high school transcripts, AP scores, and dual or transfer credit

Checklist icon First things first

If you applied to IU Columbus before your high school graduation, remember to send us your final high school transcript. Transcripts must be sent by Parchment, Naviance, or your Counseling Center to IUCORECV@indiana.edu. Wait until after graduation to request your transcript.

Your high school counselor cannot send your AP scores or dual credit transcripts on your behalf. Please follow the instructions below to send us your AP scores or dual credit transcripts.

Make your hard work count

If you have AP or CLEP scores and/or dual credit or transfer credit, we want to make sure that is counted toward your degree! It's important to submit your official scores and official transcripts so your academic advisor will know what courses you need to take.

Step icon AP & CLEP Scores

Your high school transcript will show your AP courses, but in order for those courses to count as college credit you will need to have your official scores sent from College Board to IU Columbus. AP test scores are usually available mid-July. If your test score meets IU's requirements, credit will be given.

Official CLEP scores must also be sent directly from College Board to IU, and if your test score meets the university's requirement, credit will be given.

Click here to visit the College Board website. Use school code 4216 to send your scores to IU Columbus. Links to an external site.

Step icon Transfer Credit & Dual Credit

If you have taken college courses at another institution or while in high school, you need to request official transcripts be sent to IU Columbus at IUCORECV@indiana.edu. Wait until your final grades are posted to request your official transcript. Your official transcript must be sent directly from the institution where you took courses to IU. If you took dual credit courses during high school, you must submit both your high school transcript and college transcript.

If you have dual credit from an IU campus (either through the IU Columbus Early College program or through the Advanced College Placement program on another IU campus), no action is needed. Those credits are already applied to your transcript.

If you need to have your official transcript sent by mail, you may use this address:
