The University Library of Columbus (ULC) has many resources to help you as you study and research. Use one of many computers and study carrels, check out a book with your CrimsonCard, reserve a private study room Links to an external site. for yourself or a group, and use their online search system to access a wealth of peer-reviewed articles from academic journals.

Have a question? Use the ULC's online form Links to an external site. to send a message directly to your friendly librarians. When a librarian is online, you can also chat with them live. If you're on campus, you can drop by the ULC, located in the Columbus Learning Center, and visit the information desk. 

Research help

Your librarians are research experts, and they can help you become a better researcher and find the information you need to complete your paper or project. Looking for a space to study alone or with a group, away from everyday distractions? At Study Tables, you'll find desks you can reconfigure to collaborate with your classmates, whiteboards to write on, soft lo-fi music, and peaceful natural light. It's the perfect space to focus on your assignments and get homework done before, between, and after classes. Study Table staff are available when you need help, and can connect you with an Academic Resource Center tutor if needed.

Important note: As a college student, you'll often have time between your scheduled classes you can use to study-- sometimes an hour or more. Instead of heading home, save time and gas by picking a favorite study spot on campus to use between classes. Pack a lunch, visit the cafe, or grab a snack from the Pride Pantry Links to an external site. to refuel. Great places to study include Study Tables, The Bridge, The Landing, and the University Library. Ask your Orientation Leader or Peer Mentor about their favorite places to study to get some ideas!
