Finding hardware

As you begin your journey as an Indiana University student, you may be thinking about buying a new laptop or other hardware.

We have good news!

  • You may not need to buy a new computer. We have high-speed computer labs on all campuses.
  • Indiana University and UITS support many kinds of devices. Bring the one you have and see how it goes.
  • Unless you have a program-specific requirement, you can use either a PC or Mac. IU doesn't care which one you have. Both are supported equally.
