The mission of the IU Columbus Honors Program is to support deeper, more connected, and more creative learning opportunities for challenge-ready scholars. If you have a high school GPA above 3.75 (unweighted), you likely qualify for up to $1000 per academic year by becoming part of the Honors Program.

Question mark icon What does it mean to be an Honors Scholar?

As a scholar, you will have opportunities to work on individualized projects with IU Columbus' world-class faculty. From community-based experiences to conducting research alongside a professor, you will have the opportunity to grow as a learner in ways that may shape your interests in your field or for graduate school. You will also belong to a community of advanced students on campus with whom you will graduate with honors.
