Checking your IU email

IU partners with Microsoft Exchange for student email. You can access your student email through:

• Outlook Web App Links to an external site.
• One.IU Links to an external site.
• On your mobile device or with a desktop client as described in the Knowledge Base Links to an external site.

By now, you have already created an IU student email account Links to an external site. when you created your main IU account that you use to log in to Canvas and other IU systems.

 

 

This means that all important information and outreach are purposely sent to your IU email. This includes most, if not all, of the information from people and offices important to your college career: your instructors, academic advisor, success and/or career coaches, the registrar's office, the bursar's office, the financial aid office, your library, your school, and your department.

Information from these offices will only come through email to your official IU student email account. Check your email at least once a day; it's really important.
