This is an asynchronous, self-paced, 6-week course that teaches students how to assess the usability of software through quantitative and qualitative methods, including conducting task analysis, usability studies, heuristic inspections, interviews, surveys, and focus groups. The course also introduces students to the tools and techniques for designing and testing user interfaces based on a human-centered methodology.
