Course Description: Introduction to Government Accounting and Financial Reporting; An introduction to government accounting, including comparison with accounting for the private sector, intended as background for use of financial administrators. The course deals primarily with municipal accounting. It also includes accounting by and for the federal government, auditing practices, and financial reporting.
