For this Req, you must write a new two-page, double-spaced essay that outlines the meaning of citizenship from your point of view. I want you to think about the term based on what you have learned this semester and write a thoughtful response to this question: What does citizenship mean to you?

Here are a couple of things to think about while you plan your essay:

What are some words that you associate with citizenship?
What are some examples of citizenship that you have practiced or seen?

From these words and examples, construct a definition for citizenship and explain its role in your life and the world at large. As long as you write a new thoughtful essay that directly responds to the question, you will receive full credit. Please do not resubmit your original essay from Module 1. You are welcome to reference that essay and even borrow a sentence or two from it, but, to be clear, you are expected to write a new essay.
