Speakers' Lab Visit 4 - Persuasive Speech 1

Schedule your appointment for the Speakers' Lab as soon as possible.  Take full advantage of all of the services available through the Speakers' Lab.

The lab mentors are there to assist you and have previously completed the same assignments, so benefit from their experience and knowledge.  BUT do not expect the Speakers' Lab to do your work for you! 

I do encourage you to use the mentors to guide you with topic selection, research, speech preparation, organization, visual aid preparation and practice.  Your speech will be better as a result.

Points for this assignment will NOT be awarded until I have received an email from the Speakers' Lab verifying your attendance at your scheduled appointment.  I encourage you to get your mentor to sign a sheet of paper generated by you AT THE TIME OF YOUR MEETING which indicates the date and time of your meeting, and what you discussed/accomplished.  This will be helpful for you in following up with the mentor if he/she fails to generate the needed email to me. Remember to let your mentor know your section number and my name as your instructor.
