Assignment #2 | Making your first model for print
- Due May 20, 2015 by 11:59pm
- Points 50
- Submitting a text entry box or a file upload
- Available May 18, 2015 at 12am - May 20, 2015 at 8pm
Knowing you all are at various experience levels, create a model of a product that you are thinking of. Take it as far as you can with your current knowledge of Maya and Zbrush.
- Typically, newer 3D students should use MAYA for hard surface commercial objects before taking into zbrush (if necessary for sculpting details)
- If your commercial object or prototype is more organic, feel free to start with Zbrush in any way you deem necessary.
Wednesday's class is a preliminary check on your geometry, a chance for you to ask for feedback, take critiques on the design and refine for the following week.
Please deliver a .ztl (zbrush) , .mb (maya) or .obj file for review WITH reference imagery.
