Week 10: Instructor Overview

Welcome to Week 10!

This week, we will deliver our Question of Fact Speech Deliveries in the Online Classroom. Please make sure that you have practiced presenting your speech in front of friends/family. You should also time yourself to make sure that you are hitting the required time frame and advancing your PowerPoint presentation at the correct time during your presentation.

After you have delivered your speech, you will be required to record a video reflection of your speech delivery. Remember, this is your time to tell your instructor what you felt you did well and what areas you still need to work on. This assignment will be due by Sunday, July 26th at 11:00 pm. You will record this in the assignment tab in canvas.

Don't forget to draft your outline for the Question of Policy speech this week: it is due for mentor review by Thursday night.

You have a weekly discussion board assignment to complete this week. Remember, you must respond to the initial post by Thursday at 11:00 pm and then respond to two of your classmates responses by Sunday at 11:00 pm. 

Last but not least, you have Quiz #4 to complete this week. The Quiz is due by Sunday, July 26th at 11:00 pm. Remember, this quiz covers sections 3.2 to 3.6 in your textbook. It would be a good idea to re-read those sections and watch the supplemental videos supplied to you on that content.
