Studying speech opens the door to the importance of communication in our daily lives. We come to know and shape our world through communication. What we do while speaking, tweeting, texting, watching, listening, chatting, reading, (and more!) often remains taken-for-granted. This class places communication at the center of your study! In specific, we will study and practice the principles of what it means to speak publicly.
