In module 8 you talked about how to get the care to the millions of Americans in need. This week you learned about what the government is asking everyone to do about it; they laid out part of their road map to success; we will soon learn about their other plan Healthy People 2020 to build on this information.
Are their goals in line with the needs of our citizens? Will the actions of National Call to Action to Promote Oral Health work: change perceptions, overcome barriers, build science base, increase oral health workforce and diversity, and increase collaborations. Do you think the policy makers in conjunction with the Department of Health and Human Services are on track?
