THIS WILL COUNT FOR YOUR WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT, BUT IT WILL NOT BE COUNTED TOWARD YOUR ATTENDANCE. THE DUE DATE IS THE SAME DUE DATE AS THE DANCE KALEIDOSCOPE ASSIGNMENT.
David Hochoy the director of Dance Kaleidoscope, the group we are going to see next Friday studied with the famous dance director Martha Graham (In the first video below she is the lady in the rocking chair). Here is a sample of Ms. Graham's work. She is using dance to tell the story of the American pioneer spirit using the music of Aaron Copeland. Appalachian Spring is a very famous modern symphony by Copeland, and happens to be one of my favorites.
