Anne Weiss, M.A., Ph.D. Student, IU School of Education, Higher Education Student Affairs Administration
Anne has over five years of experience, both inside and outside the classroom, with designing civic engagement initiatives. In the summer of 2015, Anne took on a new role as the Director of Assessment with Indiana Campus Compact (ICC). Anne will be expanding the capacity for ICC and their member institutions to assess, evaluate, track, and report the collective impact of community engagement across the state of Indiana. Besides collecting data and generating reports for this goal, Anne will also be taking on a faculty development role to support faculty and administrators who wish to further their skills and knowledge of assessing the civic outcomes of students and institutions. Beginning in fall 2013, Anne is pursuing a doctorate through the Indiana University School of Education, Educational Leadership and Policy program, majoring in Higher Education Student Affairs (HESA). Anne’s interests and passions come together when she is engaged in research and innovative entrepreneurship involving the areas of: civic learning, democratic engagement, and internet-based technologies. During her down time, Anne enjoys commuting to work on her bike and watching college football. To learn more about Anne, feel free to visit her LinkedIn page here Links to an external site.>>
