DISCUSSION BOARD A: Organizational Structure

Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to... 

Task

In order to complete the assignment, you will do the following:

1. Review the Discussion Board Rubric clicking the three dot menu button to show the rubric for this discussion. See the Canvas help article for displaying discussion rubrics for more help.
2. Review the Group Discussion Boards Requirements and Rubric. Download Group Discussion Boards Requirements and Rubric.
    
3. Answer the discussion prompts below. 
4. Make sure that you do not wait to complete your initial post until last minute. To have a full conversation, you must post early and revisit the discussion a couple of times to respond.
   1. Please note: If students are continually waiting until last minute to post, the initial post deadlines will be moved up in the week. 
5. Post your discussion comment in any viewable format you would like. (e.g. traditional text response, video recorded response, recorded Prezi). As long as you adequately answer the questions, the format in which you respond to them on the discussion board is up to you. 

Discussion Prompts

Answer the following questions:

1. Define "organizational communication" and related concepts (e.g. organization, communication, organizaing theory)
2. Analyze current social issues facing modern organizations, including the role communication can play in creating/mending them.

You will be assessed and graded based on the rubric provided (see step 1 in "Task").
