Assignment Name

Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to: 

• Connect your assignment to the learning objectives (e.g. practice or apply the following skills, demonstrate your understanding). 
• Explain to students how this activity will help them beyond the course.

Task

When outlining the project details, be sure to include the following:

• Steps or recommended sequence for the students’ efforts
• Any extraneous mistakes to be avoided
• What actions students should perform
• Resources needed in order to complete the task(s)

Criteria for Success

Explain how students will be evaluated. You may outline your criteria or direct students to a rubric. When you build your rubric with Canvas Rubrics Links to an external site., you can use the rubric for grading within Speedgrader. Links to an external site. 

Your work will be evaluated based on the following criteria: 

• Define the characteristics of the finished product.
• Explain how excellent work differs from adequate work.
• Indicate whether this task/product will be graded and/or how it factors into the student’s overall grade for the course.

How to Submit

Add instructions that clearly outline what should be submitted and how (e.g. via Canvas Assignments as Upload, Google Doc, Text Entry, etc.)
