S.M.A.R.T. Learning Outcomes
When assessing the learning outcomes you have created, use the S.M.A.R.T. method.
Specific: Your learning outcomes should be specific about what will happen, when and who will be completing it.
Measurable: Your learning outcomes should be have clear criteria for how students can achieve success.
Achievable: Your learning outcomes should be at a level that you know is achievable by your students.
Relevant: Your learning outcomes must be connected to the goals of your course.
Time specific: Your learning outcomes must have a specific time frame.
