When you want to fact check information you have found online, the following organizations are generally regarded as reputable fact-checking organizations focused on U.S. national news:

Checking for Bots

• Botometer Links to an external site.: This website checks the activity of a Twitter account and determines how likely the account is to be a bot.

Test your Knowledge

To test your own ability of identifying fake news, visit the Fakey Links to an external site. website.  This website teaches about media literacy and looks at how people interact with misinformation.
