MSW Student e-Orientation
Course Description
This course provides students with key information about the MSW program, including requirements and expectations. It helps students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully navigate an online course in the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). It provides them with opportunities to practice using the tools and technologies that they will be expected to use throughout their student career in the program, and it allows them the opportunity to interact with MSW personnel to ask any questions about the program or the technologies used therein.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Adhere the requirements set forth in the e-Orientation policy
- Understand key information about the MSW program, including requirements and expectations.
- Demonstrate good netiquette and email etiquette
- Understand plagiarism and how to avoid it
- Demonstrate the ability to navigate Canvas
- Complete your academic plan
- Make an advising appointment
