Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to explore what it means to create a physical space where you can participate in physical activity. The goal is that you can identify where in your home the optimal physical space can be located. This is important because you will need a physical space where you will perform your physical activity. During this lesson, you will learn how to evaluate your physical space and identify key characteristics of your space.

This site provides you with some valuable resources that you can use to learn more about how to create an at-home space. Start by reading the following sections: Space Requirements, Set-up Essentials, and Using Home Equipment. Use a Google doc, Word file, or another convenient option to design your at-home work-out space. In Google docs, use the insert tab to access images, charts, and drawing options. Include with your drawing a description of your physical space using information learned in the Space Requirements portion of the article.
Assignment submissions can also be photo uploads of your space.

At the bottom of these assignment instructions you should see two submission options – an Upload icon (pre-selected) and a More icon.
To upload a file (anything saved on your computer, such as Word files, images etc.), click and drag your document icon into the rocket launch-pad area (it says “Drag a file here”) or else click in that area to then search for and select your document.
To upload a GoogleDoc, click on the More icon and then choose Google Assignments. If not signed in, sign in to your Google account. Click “Select File” and then choose your document, then click “Add” and confirm your choice by clicking “Attach.”
For either type of submission, when ready, click “Submit Assignment.” Your submitted document should (eventually) appear on the page.
Once your assignment is graded, return and look at your teacher’s comments.
