You need this, I need this, and other things we “persuade” about.
When was the last time you practiced the art of persuasion? For example: were you trying to get a day off work? Getting a small child to eat a “yucky” food? Were you trying to make a friend see why the latest Avengers movie is the best that Marvel Universe has to offer? Or were you trying to get your significant other to donate her/his ratty sweat shirt to charity?
Provide a brief description of your interaction. Who were you persuading? What was your goal? What were your specific tactics? Did you succeed? Why or why not? Would you change your tactics if you could start again?
Just as a reminder, you must respond to this discussion board post by Thursday at 11pm with your initial response. Then from Friday to Sunday, you must respond to at least two of your classmates posts.
