Vicki Basman is the Chief of Interpretation for Indiana State Parks Links to an external site.. She has an undergraduate degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Purdue, and a Masters in Parks and Recreation Administration from Indiana University. She has worked for the Department of Natural Resources Links to an external site. for over 25 years, from a seasonal naturalist at McCormick's Creek State Park Links to an external site. to historic preservation management to now serving as the Chief of Interpretation. She loves her job, and feels honored to work with all our interpreters and help Indiana's state park system be one of the best in the country.
