This week you have six options. CHOOSE ONE and follow the directions for the assignment on its respective page.
For this Challenge, your orders are to create a concept map linking the structures and systems encouraging or supporting ongoing military engagement.
For this Challenge, you will assume the role of a researcher, working for a representative, non-governmental organization, lobbying firm, or funding agency.
For this Challenge, you will register students as Indiana voters.
It seems that everywhere you turn, people are trying to thwart civic engagement. State legislatures are making it increasingly difficult to vote and/or register to vote, school districts are requiring extensive background checks to volunteer in schools, law enforcement is cracking down on protesters, and cities are instituting additional rules for public demonstrations. For this Challenge, you will be tasked with creating an infographic that addresses the impact of one or more of these measures.
For this Challenge, you will conduct a content analysis of three well-known media outlets on one day and then create a visual display to illustrate your findings.
For this Challenge, you will choose one of several pre-selected historical feminist issues, trace this issue from its earliest formation as a series of legal demands for equality, and then follow its trajectory up through its current legislative status. You will create an online interactive timeline that will illustrate and explain the critical events and cultural shifts that influenced the progress—and setbacks—feminists have made in the fight for equality in your chosen topic.
