- Training on how to identify misinformation and fake news.
Assignment:
Students will work in teams to first find a news story. From here, students will analyze the article/source to understand each aspect of the story. Students will then begin creating their presentation. The catch? They are not bound by truth.
As presenters, students will work to construct the best story to catch the audience’s attention. The teams can decide to tell the true facts of the story, make up all of the details of the story, or use some real facts and some fake. As the audience, students will try to identify what is the truth and what is fake.
