The coffee is a great ally of students for long hours of study . It is one of the drinks that students choose the most . Studying and drinking coffee seem to be inseparable friends who get along well in the morning, in the afternoon and especially at night.

The caffeine

Many students tend to have a cup of coffee to accompany the study day . And since we take one, we also take another, and then another, and why not one more?

As you probably already know, coffee contains an alkaloid called caffeine that has the property of stimulating your nervous system.

That's why you take it when despite standing up in the morning, you can't take the pillow off your face. Or at night, when you need a little extra energy to finish a practical assignment or study one more topic for the exam .

The effects of coffee

The benefits

This rich drink has some beneficial health properties.

In the first place and as I already told you, it stimulates your body and allows you to improve concentration. According to some studies, it also prevents some diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's .

Thanks to its vasodilatory effects, it also helps fight headaches, which is why many students also tend to consume it.

The damages

But of course, like everything else, excess coffee brings complications, mainly because it contains caffeine .

Known are the effects of coffee on the stomach, causing heartburn and gastritis . Also, too much coffee can give you insomnia . This is very common in students with trouble sleeping .

It is also known that in some cases, excess caffeine can lead to addiction, although the degree of dependence on this substance does not compare to that of nicotine in cigarettes or some stronger drugs.

On the aesthetic side, drinking coffee , like tea, leaves teeth yellowing over time.

But well, this is not a blog about health so if you want to know more about it I leave you information about the effects of coffee .

One more cup?

So, you know for the next one. Studying and drinking coffee can be beneficial, but when you go for the next cup think if you have not had enough coffee for today.
